LOCAL CHILDREN AMONG TOP 50 ENTRIES IN NATIONAL ART COMPETITION
Elsie Cooper, 7 from Mary Elton Primary School and Aurora Fry, 9 from High Down Junior School have been selected among the top 50 entries in an art competition run by Parent Zone in partnership with Google - and will see their artworks go on display in the Houses of Parliament.
- The ‘Find Your Balance: A day in my digital life’ competition is designed to encourage families to think about how they balance online and offline life
- Entries were judged on creativity and how well they responded to the challenge
- The top 50 entries will go on display in the Houses of Parliament to put children’s perspectives on digital wellbeing at the heart of Westminster
The ‘Find Your Balance: A day in my digital life’ competition asked children aged 5-11 to submit an artwork showing how their family balances their online and offline life.
Elsie and Aurora's entries were selected based on their creativity and originality, and how well they had interpreted the competition theme. Their entries will now be displayed in the Houses of Parliament.
