Vodafone

Our customers are at the heart of our business, and our number one priority right now is maintaining the quality of our service. Whether they are at home, working from home or a key worker, we know that our technology is making a real difference in helping people through this crisis. As a proud British business, we are working hard to support all our customers, including providers of critical national infrastructure such as NHS 111 telephone and online services, police forces, local authorities and key government departments. To keep the UK connected we have:

  • offered 30 days’ free unlimited mobile data to all NHS staff who are Vodafone customers;
  • enabled all mobile customers to access NHS online sites for free, and zero-rated the cost to access the non-emergency 101 police line;
  • communicated key Government health messages using SMS to every Vodafone customer;
  • put in place measures to support customers with payments, and extended help for vulnerable customers;
  • extended extra capacity to our core networks so that they can deal with the increase in voice and data traffic, now that more people are working from home and many schools are closed;
  • worked to give the new temporary NHS hospitals the best mobile connectivity possible.
