Please find at the link below a letter from Mark Harper MP, Secretary of State for Transport, regarding the establishment of a bus lane on the A370 Long Ashton bypass.
Commenting in response to the letter, Dr Fox said:
"Ahead of the local elections, North Somerset officials and councillors maintained that it was a condition of government funding that the bus lane was in operation 24/7. This is not true as confirmed by the Secretary of State for Transport. They must apologise and think again about this proposal."
