Dr Liam Fox, MP for North Somerset and his wife Jesme visited the Nailsea and District Horticultural Society Spring show on Saturday with Nailsea Cllr Jan Barber. The annual event took place in the impressive atrium of Nailsea School which was a riot of colour from the displays of daffodils, spring flowers and local crafts. There were classes for everyone including art, cooking, wine, photos, floral art, handicrafts and houseplants as well as flowers and vegetables. International judge Ian Tyler from Wigan explained what the judges are looking for in a prize winning exhibit and both he and Secretary Jane Knight expressed delight at the number and quality of the entries.
