Liam hosts a public meeting at the Nailsea Methodist Church to encourage constituents to make their views on the proposed pylon line between Hinkley Point and Avonmouth known to the National Grid. Liam is committed to a campaign to make sure that the pylon lines are routed under-ground wherever possible and that those stretches that remain above ground are routed well away from any housing.

Liam visits a training session of the North Somerset Athletic Club junior squad and was delighted to meet many of the club's medalists from the South West Indoor Athletics Championship the previous weekend.
